Old Town Reset
A full gut remodel in Old Town Park City, where a dated interior became a white, modern home built for how a vacation rental actually gets used.
Old Town Reset started as a home that had not been touched in years and needed it before it could work as a vacation rental. Cross Construction gutted the interior and rebuilt it from the studs out, replacing a curved staircase with a modern L-shaped staircase in white oak treads and running white oak flooring through the main living spaces, with tile in the bathrooms. A retro fireplace was removed and replaced with a modern white stone fireplace, and fresh paint carried through every room. In the kitchen, the existing cabinets and countertops were solid, so instead of a full tear-out the team refaced and repainted them, putting the budget where it mattered most. Every bathroom was updated, including the main bathroom upstairs, which went from a cramped, single-vanity layout to a space with a double vanity and a layout that actually flows.
